When backporting packages to it in as clean an environment as possible for instance a virtual machine for that specific purpose.
Download the orig source, .dsc file and diff file for your packages from debian testing (use http://packages.debian.org/ to find the files)
unpack with dpkg-source -x < dsc-filename >
